Egy "lírai szitkom"...

Szentivánéji álom - "I.L. Caragiale" Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetem, Bukarest, Románia

A román egyetem előadása sok szempontból innovatív produkció.

A Midsummer Night's Dream - "I.L. Caragiale" National University of Theatre and Film, Bucharest, Romania

The performance by the students from the Romanian University is innovative for various reasons. It was interesting for me how Shakespeare’s well-known play was re-interpreted in such a free manner, both in its portrayals and its dramaturgy. A lyrical, thought-provoking „sit-com”was created from the material, with strong performances (which can still be developed). It is interesting how the actors made these characters their own, and how they adapted them to themselves, while using various techniques which alienate the audience. The best acting work was done by the actor playing Oberon, for he had both practical and artistic tasks which are difficult to combine. His was a varied and thought-through performance, though every other actor played in an exciting, laid back but detailed way.

The EYE has Opened!

The Miskolc EYE Festival has officially started! The guests from abroad finally arrived, we opened the set and costume design exhibition of MA Scenography students from the University of Fine Art, Budapest, watched Mrs. Karnyó, the first festival performance, and then had a chance to try various types of Hungarian pálinka and "kocsonya" – this was also the official openinc ceremony of the festival!

Megnyílt a SZEM!

Kedden megnyitotta kapuit a SZEM fesztivál – a külföldi vendégek megérkeztek, megnyitottuk a budapesti Képzőművészeti Egyetem látványtervező szakos hallgatóinak díszlet- és jelmezterveit bemutató kiállítását, megtekintettük a Karnyóné című musicalt, az első fesztiválelőadást, majd többféle pálinka és kocsonya társaságában hivatalosan is megnyitottuk a fesztivált!
